Before studying anthropology, I was a professional chess player.

I started learning chess when I was in kindergarten.

At 8 I won World Youth Chess Championship.

At 13 I joined Sichuan provincial team in China and regularly played in a series of professional tournaments.

My best records include Chinese Chess Team Champion and Canadian Women Champion.

I also do coaching in my free time.
